मंदिरों के कारण ही लोग एक दूसरे से मिलते थे और धर्म का प्रचार और प्रसार होता था, क्योंकि गृहस्थ जीवन में किसी भी रूम को मंदिर की तरह स्वच्छ और पवित्र रख पाना मुश्किल था, इसलिए मंदिर एक ऐसी जगह रही जिस जगह को अधिक से अधिक शुद्ध और पवित्र रखा जा सके

मंदिर में जब कोई भी व्यक्ति नहा कर साफ सुथरे से जाता है और सभी व्यक्ति नहा धोकर के साफ सुथरे से जाते हैं तो लोगों की पवित्रता से ही धीरे-धीरे मंदिर और उसके आसपास की जगह की पवित्रता बढ़ने लगती है, जिससे वहां पर ऊर्जा का निर्माण होता है.

और वहां पर स्थापित देव प्रतिमा का पूजन मंत्रों का उच्चारण और यज्ञ से धीरे-धीरे वहां पर पॉजिटिविटी फैल जाती थी, इसलिए वहां पर मंदिरों में जाने पर ज्यादा लाभ होता था.

बहुत से लोग मंदिर में जब साधना आदि करते थे तो इसी पॉजिटिव एनर्जी के कारण उनको ज्यादा लाभ होता था, पहले की समय में मंदिरों को पवित्र और साफ़ सुथरा पवित्र बनाने के लिए आसपास कोई ऐसी चीज नहीं की जाती थी जिससे पवित्रता में बाधा हो.

घर में उतना साफ सफाई युक्त एक अलग से कमरा रख पाना मुश्किल था, जिसमें केवल साधन और भक्ति किया जा सके और हर प्रकार से ऐसा कर पाना मुश्किल था, लेकिन मंदिरों में ऐसा कर पाना बहुत ही आसान था क्योंकि यहां पर हर कोई सकारात्मक सोच लेकर जाता था जिससे वहां पर पॉजिटिविटी बढ़ती जाती थी.

जिससे लोगों को साधना और भक्ति मार्ग में आगे बढ़ाने की प्रेरणा मिलती थी, आज हिंदू धर्म की शिक्षा बंद हो चुकी है इसलिए लोग इस बारे में उतना नहीं जान पाए.
